Introducing you a new section on my blog which i call “ Budget Beauty”. This section will cover good products, worth to buy, and it is under $5, or 50 000 rupiahs. I will try to post in Budget Beauty section at least once a month. I too hope that this section is going to help you save lots and lots of money while keep being pretty :)

My first review on Budget Beauty section will cover a blush on from Mustika Ratu. Mustika Ratu is Indonesian brand, one of the oldest and the best out there. If you are foreigner and you have the chance to come to Indonesia one day, be sure to bring back some Mustika Ratu products. I bet you are going to like it.

I have this for quite some time already :). The packaging is boring, a plastic with shimmery gold color.

It is light pink with hint of purple on the pan. But when i swipe on my cheek, it turns out to be warm pink color. Such a natural color, as if i just come back from playing under the sun.

For $4 price tag, you can have many choices, like silky girl or revlon`s glamorous blush on. This blush on`s quality is similar to that. I bought this one anyway, because the color is pretty and natural for my days at work.

+ Finely milled and blendable

+ Pretty color for my daily make up

+ Moderately pigmented, so it won`t get clownish

+ Affordable and can be easily found on the nearest cosmetic store

- Does not stay long

- Very powdery

Revlon Indonesia has recently launched their new version of Revlon Matte Balm. I bought two of them yesterday, and when i got back, i just realized i have two Revlon just bitten kissable balm stain on my traincase.

I was like, “ Oh, hello again my forgotten lippie.”

And i have not reviewed them, so i thought, why not now? plus i will give you some comparison review between the two balms today. So, lets get started!

Price: 80.000 or $8 for Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain and 88000 or $9 for Matte Balm

Got four of them lined up, and as you can see they look like crayons! hahaha. I brought Sweetheart once to my office and somehow it fell from the ground when i had meeting. The office boy helped me pick it up and put it inside my pencil case because he thought it was a highlighter or crayon!!

Though the look can be misleading for some, i just totally in love with the packaging because it is JUMBO twist up pencil, which is convenient. I don`t have to sharpen it therefore no waste at all. The pointy tip help me reaching out the edge of my lips and make the application easier.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain has shinier packaging, whereas the Matte Balm is doff plastic. Totally matte. Preference? I like the Matte ones

Revlon Matte Balm supposed to give us velvety matte finish. They claimed to be hydrating just like a balm would do. Overall, i don`t find them hydrating but unlike other matte lipsticks out there, they are not drying either. Completely comfortable to wear and stays quite long on my lips.

The texture is quite balmy, and VERY pigmented. I have 3 ce lip lacquer and this one can compete with 3ce`s pigmentation. It stays around 2-3 hours and has pleasant minty smells. The only downside is the tendency to sink in lip lines and creases, especially for complex shade.

Elusive is medium pink with warm toned. The consistency is creamy and since it is pigmented, it gives full coverage to my lips.

Complex is a nude color, beige with orange hint. If you have Revlon Lustrous Almost Nude, the color is almost the same. Only this one is more muted and has matte finish. Complex has lighter pigmentation, so to achieve full coverage, we may need more than one swipe.

So far, I loveeeee Revlon Matte Balm. It has slight defect on the tendency to sink on fine lines. Other than that, everything seems to be okay! Price okay, application okay, and i really recommend Elusive and Complex for work, school and pretty much your daily need of lipstick.

Okay.. Okay.. I know this post is kinda long hahaha I don`t expect it to be this long but please bare it with me. Just bitten kissable balm is next, baby!

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain is supposed to give us a long lasting and staining color. It is very pigmented and has nice texture. The finish is satin and a a little bit glossy.

It hydrates. A little bit, really. I still opt for a lip balm underneath to cast away the dryness. It has minty scent and flavor. Somehow, i think this version has stronger mint scent than the matte ones.

Unlike the matte balm, Just bitten one will leave stain. It is more long lasting! Even when the lipstick comes off already, it still leaves a trace of color and won`t leave you dull face.

Sweetheart is deep strawberry color. It is the most pigmented and most long lasting out of four.

Cherish Devotion is light pink with blue undertone. It is very barbie like :)

So, if you opt for a more glossy look, choose this Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain. It is more long wearing and slightly cheaper price.

So… 1,2,3,4.. Which one is the best for me?

My office starts at 7.00. EVERYDAY.

It means i have to wake up at 6 everyday, or 5.30 if i want to do some deliberative make up. Well, more make up needs more time, of couse. But, though i already cut down my make up time and opt for such a simple look for office, getting up is hard sometimes. I am still half awake and feel glued to my bed hahaha.

Until i find these

Judging from the number of these gels, i think you know it already that i am in love with these shower gels! I got these from Guardian when i visited Jakarta last month. Way way before these gels invade our local hypermarts in Surabaya.

I firstly in love with the packaging. Simply because it looks eyecatching, colorful and intriguing. See this one below.

“82 British Sunrises helped make one moisturizing bottle of this”

Heck, How in the world the sunrises have got to do with soap making?? That flashed inside my mind. But this quote happens to explain that this product is very natural.

Plus it is cheap. only around 20,000 rupiahs.

I like it even more

It contains 250 ml of goodness, and this above is my FAVORITE. I enjoy my shower time more, therefore, at least i have one random motivation to get off my bed in the morning haha. It is also the most moisturizing among the three. It smells sweet and feminine, just like a strawberry muffin would smell. If you ever brush your teeth with KODOMO tooth paste in strawberry, the smell is close to that, only much better.

See? Natural fragrance..

Allright, if sweet scent is not your cup of tea, then i recommend you to try this one. It has fresh scent of a lemon. Very fresh, and it reminds me of a yellow fanta (i forget the flavor). It is also moisturizing, but the pink one is more moisturizing IMO. The scent of the rasperry one lingers longer than the lemon one. I ussually spray myself with additional tanngerine body mist from AVON to prolong that freshness.

I bought this because of the color.. Truly.. reminds me of minion Hahaha

This one smells like mint. Pure mint. Really. When it says that your body will tingle, it truly does! After shower, i feel like i am washing my body with mint and it feels so fresh!After you eat mentos or other minty candy, your mouth feels so fresh and breezy, isn`t it? Now, if you use this shower gel, you are going to experience that ON YOUR SKIN.

It will be a nice freezing moment afterbath in the morning, but for me, i never use it for my night shower. Just too freezing! hahaha. Cold water and cool shower gel is not a good combination at night.

Overall, i truly enjoy my shower gels from Original Source! Good job!

Yes, this is the famous Bobbi Brown Gel eyeliner!

Someone kind got me a set containing two gel eyeliners in shade sephia ink and black ink, include with the eyeliner brush. How could i not? All the make up gurus on youtube are swearing by it. I really thought that this eyeliner is very awesome.

The gel comes in glass tube with black cap. Quite heavy for such a small jar. I have using it for months now and it never gone out! Arghhh.. so clearly two jars are too much for me and i can not hold myself to use the sephia ink one. in the end i decided to sell it to my fellow beauty blogger friends. Yeaaaaaa, before i said good bye to it, i would like to give it some review.

The price is 280.000 a jar. So expensive! And today i just sold it away for 60.000.

MY HEART… is bleeding..

But for me, make up is like a baby. It will be sad if i don`t use it. So, instead of staying with such a neglected mom like me, i better let it go for a better owner.

Speaking of quality, i will say that this gel eyeliner is exceptionally great. I used it for my clients and it really stays all day. You just need to dab eyeshadow over it or double it with black eyeliner.

A bonus fun with this eyeliner is that, you can change the color! Woo hoo :)… I ever try to dab blue eyeshadow over this eyeliner, and i got that pretty blue smokey eyes.

The texture is good for eyelining, dry fast and we can smudge for a natural result. This eyeliner supposed to be a keep for me, unfortunately it is not my cup of tea. My eyelid type is monolid with oily surface. Eventhough this eyeliner is considered to be almighty, it won`t stay unless i double it with liquid eyeliner. The problem? I have no time putting double – double hassle like that.

That is why, this baby ends up in the edge of my vanity table.

Almighty indeed, but it is not meant for Hana :). Girls, i originally want to give you swatch and try out pics as well, but those pics are in my other laptop. #bow #bow #very sorry. So i hope my review is enough hehehe.

Anyhow, i would recommend this for you who has double eyelid and double pocket thickness. hehehe. I believe this baby will worth your money.
