Applying eyeshadow is quite tricky. There was time when i used to apply a shimmery white shadow to highlight my brows. Well, nothing is wrong with that, really.. But personally i feel that my eyes look like a disco ball, unnatural at all. You know, shimmery eyeshadows + shimmery highlights are way way too much to my taste.

So, i prefer matte eyeshadow for highlight and i quite like this VOV Shine Shadow

I bought this several months ago, and i don`t touch it much at first because i rarely use eyeshadows on my working days. Sometimes i experience the oily lids and it makes my eyeliner last less longer. This shine shadow helps to absorbs the oil, make my eyes brighter but it doesn`t look like i am wearing eyeshadow. It has soft pink undertone that match mine. So, overall it is a good take on a daily basis

- Boring, cheap looking plastic packaging, but it is quite sturdy.

- Matte finish and not chalky.

- Affordable and available in the local department store

- Not quite long lasting and rather powdery

- Not pigmented

VOV Shine shadow is not exactly my favorite because i have found much better matte white eyeshadow as a highlighter. But, counting on how it looks so natural for everyday, i think some of us would like it.
