beauty chica: Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm and Just Bitten Kissable Balm Reviews

Revlon Indonesia has recently launched their new version of Revlon Matte Balm. I bought two of them yesterday, and when i got back, i just realized i have two Revlon just bitten kissable balm stain on my traincase.

I was like, “ Oh, hello again my forgotten lippie.”

And i have not reviewed them, so i thought, why not now? plus i will give you some comparison review between the two balms today. So, lets get started!

Got four of them lined up, and as you can see they look like crayons! hahaha. I brought Sweetheart once to my office and somehow it fell from the ground when i had meeting. The office boy helped me pick it up and put it inside my pencil case because he thought it was a highlighter or crayon!!

Though the look can be misleading for some, i just totally in love with the packaging because it is JUMBO twist up pencil, which is convenient. I don`t have to sharpen it therefore no waste at all. The pointy tip help me reaching out the edge of my lips and make the application easier.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain has shinier packaging, whereas the Matte Balm is doff plastic. Totally matte. Preference? I like the Matte ones

Revlon Matte Balm supposed to give us velvety matte finish. They claimed to be hydrating just like a balm would do. Overall, i don`t find them hydrating but unlike other matte lipsticks out there, they are not drying either. Completely comfortable to wear and stays quite long on my lips.

The texture is quite balmy, and VERY pigmented. I have 3 ce lip lacquer and this one can compete with 3ce`s pigmentation. It stays around 2-3 hours and has pleasant minty smells. The only downside is the tendency to sink in lip lines and creases, especially for complex shade.

Elusive is medium pink with warm toned. The consistency is creamy and since it is pigmented, it gives full coverage to my lips.

Complex is a nude color, beige with orange hint. If you have Revlon Lustrous Almost Nude, the color is almost the same. Only this one is more muted and has matte finish. Complex has lighter pigmentation, so to achieve full coverage, we may need more than one swipe.

So far, I loveeeee Revlon Matte Balm. It has slight defect on the tendency to sink on fine lines. Other than that, everything seems to be okay! Price okay, application okay, and i really recommend Elusive and Complex for work, school and pretty much your daily need of lipstick.

Okay.. Okay.. I know this post is kinda long hahaha I don`t expect it to be this long but please bare it with me. Just bitten kissable balm is next, baby!

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain is supposed to give us a long lasting and staining color. It is very pigmented and has nice texture. The finish is satin and a a little bit glossy.

It hydrates. A little bit, really. I still opt for a lip balm underneath to cast away the dryness. It has minty scent and flavor. Somehow, i think this version has stronger mint scent than the matte ones.

Unlike the matte balm, Just bitten one will leave stain. It is more long lasting! Even when the lipstick comes off already, it still leaves a trace of color and won`t leave you dull face.
