Today i am gonna review a BB Cream from Holika Holika, a Korean brand. To be honest, this is my first product from Holika Holika, hehehe when the BB Cream came i was soooo excited to try it out! Now, after about two months trying, i am now ready to give you a full insight about it.

Packaging

The postman came with a box from Korea, after a harsh unwrapping ~~ hahaha. I finally find my love, 真棒!! It comes with a clear plastic packaging with pretty lace details. but i think the plastic cover is not that safe. It breaks and dent in so many places. Gladly, it doesn`t effect the tube inside.

The tube is baby pink, coated with silk cloth. Yes, you here me rite! Real silk cloth!

It also comes with a pump dispense tube. Same like Etude House, except this one is easier to use. I love the girly packaging, but i find that the silk cloth makes the BB Cream easily dirty. Once it is dirtied, i can not just wipe it clean without leaving stains.

Review

Holika Holika luminous silk bb cream provides sheer to medium coverage. I have less acne scars now, and only have minimum redness due to genetic case~hahaha~ seriously my sisters have this dot dot redness on their face too, i guess we inherit it from our dad 爸. Yeah, but still 我愛你, baba!

It covers pretty well, and i only have to put more concealer on the dark circles. But that`s it! Luminous Silk is blendable and buildable. The texture is thick and powdery, which i like because it gives almost matte finish! When i go for teaching and feel lazy, i just leave it that way and go. I look okay, luminous and do not feel greasy.

Luminous silk has grey undertone, which oxidise after 3 – 4 hours, and it can go as far as 6 hours if i blot them well and set it with Marcks powder. The instant brightening effect is noticeable and i love the faint baby scent it gives!

So far, i like this BB Cream. It does not beat my Etude`s bb dation and bright fit, of course. But certainly this BB Cream does not let me down, and due to its almost matte finish, this bb cream has been a great addition to my BB Cream collection!
