Today i come back with the famous Bourjouis Healthy Mix Serum review in shade vanilla. Everybody in youtube has been raving about this, you know, Bubzbeauty loves this foundation too. I forgot the exact price, since i have this for far too long. But i think it retailed at more than $20 or 200.000 rupiahs

This foundation has been a delight for me. Since it smells so tutti frutty and spreads like gel. Very easy. Blending is not a problem too, and i find it better to use sponge for heavy coverage and stippling brush for a lighter coverage.

PUMP! Yeah, i like the packaging because it comes with a pump. You know lha, pump package always has a better hygienic aspect as we dont have to dip our finger directly to the bottle.

The coverage is sheer to medium with satin finish. It gives me a healthy glow, but with such a lighter feeling than if i use bb cream. It does not oxidize on me also. This is me using the foundation. It looks natural on me, and has that “healthy face” effect.

For the oil control,  It says to stay 16 hours, but in reality, it is only 5 hours top before i have to blot here and there. All in all, this is a good foundation to buy, but not my favorite because i prefer more high coverage foundation with better oil control.

A few months ago, Maybelline has launched their new BB Cream in stick version. Many MANY bloggers has wrote reviews about it, i think i am the last one who talk about this hahaha. Anyway, it got quite a rave online. Would I rave it too?

Let`s see..

The BB cream claims to have 8 benefits and multifunctioned make up. It is an instant BB Cream + shine free powder + UV protection all at one!

Price: 53.000 rupiahs or $6, price may vary

Amount: 10 grams

Shade: Natural, Radiance, Fawn, mine is Natural

The packaging is similar like lipstick, only this one is GIANT! You can twist it up and twist it down. The cap is tight, and for me, i think the packaging is very practical. I can even keep this inside my pencil case!

The texture is a little bit dry and powdery. I love the powdery part of it. Perfect for touch up. I ussually brought this along with me to touch up parts that looks blotchy during the day. If you have cracky and dry skin, make sure you put tons of moisturizer first because the bb cream will exaggerate your dry skin.

As for the finish, i think it is matte and glowy finish. If you have a dry skin, you won`t even need to set with powder, seriously! The cream is easy to blend and looks pretty on the skin.

On me, it lasts only three hours and the oil control is not very good. That is why i am only using it for touch up. I have it everyday in my purse and it is just VERY. VERY practical. I only dislike the fact that it does not stay under the sun. It melts. Literally. When i wipe my sweat, the bb cream transferred and leaving blotchy mark. That is why, i never use it to the entire face.

Here is the swatches. As you can see, the coverage is low to medium and it does not cover the pen mark entirely. The yellow tone of the cream will tone down the redness and even out  the skin. But if you have a lot to cover, then you are probably going to need concealer. I ussually use Maybelline Mineral concealer, it works hand to hand bringing even and bright under eye.

Back in Semarang i did a little make over to my friend Mega. I think the stick does a good job on brightening the face instantly, plus evening out skintone. Other than using it for touch up i do like it to use it as lip concealer too. It works! and it is not as heavy as real lip concealer, believe me.

This is a good addition in my TOUCH UP arsenal. I only use it too even out certain area that got blotchy during the day. I recommend this to you who has normal to dry skin because it is going to stay longer on your skin

As a blusher junkie i am, at last i could not resist the temptation of having Luminoso in my stash. It is raved by many, for sure, and now it is my turn to see whether i love it or not.

What i think....

Baked Blush has nine shades, and mine is Luminoso. Luminoso is very pretty in the pan. It looks like a marble and i love it. When it is swiped, it delivers pretty peachy color with golden shimmer. It looks good especially on an olive skin. It gives a natural glow. Whereas on me, who has pink undertone, it look somewhat orange. When i use it, it gives me glamour mature glow, not the girlish flush that pink blush on ussually gives.



The packaging is nice with gold color. It looks grown up-ish and just compliment marbelized texture from the blush. I havent dropped this blush, *applaud myself*. So i cant really say about the sturdiness. But so far i dont have complain. The applicator works well though the bristles are not very soft.



It is very pigmented and hard to blend. I espescially like to use dual fibre brush to pick the colir, only to make sure i pick just correct amount. Any leftover color would be hard to swipe off with tisue and i am not a big fan of covering it with powder. It turns the pretty sheen down.


It stays very long, 5 - 8 hours on my oily combination skin and has satiny finish that enhance the cheekbone. If i use it slightly, it seems like i do not wear blush on, only my cheekbones get more definition and i look less pale.  The blush definitely get praised from me, applaud Milani for brings out high end blush qualities tagged in drugstore's price. Though Luminoso is not my favorite  color,i am  very well pleased with the quality and i think i will repurchase in Dolce Pink

Conclusion

I would recommend this for you who is looking for an everyday blush. It is going to look flattering. Pretty without looking too much. Any skintone will be able to pull this off for sure, but i think olive skintone would pull it off best.

Hi hi! How are you today, friends? I miss you and this blog very much. You might not know i haven't actually open this blog, and what you have been reading are scheduled posts. Aa, life has been so busy,isn't it? Especially those for you who live in Jakarta, i hope the flood will be able to solved and i pray so that you will be able to find meaning behind the calamity.

But anyway, i am back now to review another favorite bb cream, Etude house precious mineral bb bright fit! This BB Cream i bought last month and this is my thought about it.

Packaging

It comes with peachy colored paper box. It is so cute with many emboss and details. My favorite detail would be the bb cream emboss in the box, i think it looks princessey.


Bb cream bright fit has a pump which i like because it is very higienic and somehow it dispense just enough amount to cover my face and neck.



Coverage, concistency,finish and oil control

I would say it is medium coverage with a dewy finish. Easy to blend and light in concistency.
It is able to even out redness and tone the skin. But if you have big pimples and dark undereye, you are going to absolutely need concealer. The concistency is light in my opinion, does not feel heavy on my face, blends perfectly without shrinking on fine lines. Oil control is quite good, like 3-4 hours before i need to blot.

Other features

I like how this bb cream is somehow waterproof and sweatproof. It won't melt on hot sunny days,and even when i sweat the bb stays. So, when you use this bb cream, you will need cleansing oil, or if you dont have one, just use  cleansing milk. I think they work better than water and cleansing foam to remove bb cream.

Conclusion

I would say that 125000 for 60 gram of products is not bad at all. Quite reasonable. Also, Etude house is craftily sell this baby with a nice packaging. I personally think it is worth buying because the bb cream also good in quality and it does not break me out.

I would recommend this for you who are looking for bb cream to go everyday. This would be one of the best choice.
